William Wynperle

Will is a partner with Shamrock Capital Advisors, a Los Angeles based private equity firm focused on investments in the media, entertainment, and communications industries. Will has served on numerous boards and overseen several of Shamrock’s investments throughout his 21-year tenure with the company. Will is a former board member of a number of non-profit organizations including: the US Lacrosse Foundation, an organization that operates in support of US Lacrosse, the sport’s national governing body, and the L.A. chapter of The Positive Coaching Alliance, an organization focused on developing “Better Athletes, Better People” by working to provide a positive youth sports experience.

Troy Jenkins

Troy Jenkins works as the principal real estate and investment manager at Avison Young. He brings to LuskinOIC more than 30 years of real estate and investment expertise, with strong emphasis in capital raising, acquisitions, investment banking and commercial real estate brokerage. Jenkins’s experience also includes guest lecturing at University of Southern California, as well as serving on many boards. He currently serves on the Governing Board of the Robert Toigo Foundation, is Chairman Emeritus of the City Club Los Angeles, and is the treasurer of the Grace United Methodist Church in Los Angeles. Jenkins holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA.

Toni Steele

Toni Steele is a Senior Real Estate Executive serving as Google Real Estate Portfolio Lead based in Silicon Valley. Her role ensures Google’s workplace and related business supply/demand needs are met through direct holdings, new development and market transactions (acquisitions and leasing). Ms. Steele is also Co-Lead of Google’s $1 billion Affordable Housing Fund.

She has extensive capital markets & asset management experience from over 22 years with Goldman Sachs (International Country Lead for Italy & Germany | US Vice President) on large holding acquisitions, direct and NPL real estate portfolios, and country platforms. Her key focus areas include progressive office, life science, redevelopment, urban campuses and film studios. Co-lead on Netflix brokered purchase of the Albuquerque Studios while JLL Executive VP of Southern California Capital Markets. She holds a Master of Business Administration, summa cum laude, from the International University of Monaco and a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude from Pepperdine University. She also attended UCLA her freshman year and later for real estate studies.

Sarah Jonovic

Sarah started her involvement with LuskinOIC as a grateful parent in 2016. She brings with her a background in private equity, working on numerous mergers and acquisitions related transactions globally, and experience building an elementary school that came about as an unmet need for a dynamic, multiage environment for children. The Cottage School, a four year old micro school, is focused on supporting the whole child through their elementary years of education where each student understands his or her whole self is appreciated and valued and their classrooms are a space where children question freely, exchange ideas, and share both joyful and difficult experiences with the support and trust of their peers and teachers. She heads all administrative, contractual and development initiatives for the school.

Sarah is an active philanthropist, dedicated to serving children at home and abroad. She has actively raised money for children pursuing medical treatment in the United States, education initiatives for children in the US, India and Nepal, initiatives to find medical resources and funding for children pursuing medical treatment/interventions abroad, as well as managing her family’s philanthropic initiatives worldwide. Sarah has been on the advisory council since [x], the gala committee since [x] and co-chaired the 2023 gala at Universal Studios. Philip Han

Han currently serves as chief investment officer of Saban Capital Group, a multibillion-dollar family business and leading private investment firm. Over the past 19 years in that role, Han has been responsible for managing Saban’s entire balance sheet, with a particular focus in building out and managing a diversified real estate portfolio for the family. Born in South Korea and raised and educated in the United States, Han holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics/business from UCLA and an MBA in finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Nancy Rossi

With a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UCLA, a 43+ year career in public accounting, and ownership of Rossi LLP from 1983 until its recent sale to BPM, LLP, this individual has a deep-rooted professional legacy. Currently residing in Irvine, they have two daughters and three grandchildren. They serve as President of the Charitable Children’s Guild (CCG), having held multiple terms and roles, including Treasurer. A sustaining member of Las Madrecitas since 1998, they have held various leadership positions. As a long-standing donor and participant in LuskinOIC appeals and events, they have contributed $27,000 and logged 355 volunteer hours. They have also volunteered for the National MS Society’s Orange County Chapter and have been best friends with Debbie Clark since age 11.

James Luck, Jr., MD

Director of Surgical Services and Rehabilitation, Orthopaedic Hemophilia Treatment Center; Professor-in-Residence; Joint Reconstruction

Dr. Luck is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hemophilia disorders, bone and soft tissue tumors and joint reconstruction and the current Director of Surgical Services.

Dr. Luck has been actively involved with the Hemophilia Treatment Center since 1968 and has performed more reconstructive surgeries on hemophilia patients than almost any other surgeon in the world.

James Arnold Jr.

James Arnold, Jr is currently Global Lead Commercial Counsel for W.L. Gore and Associates, Inc., best known for GORE-TEX. He has almost 20 years of experience contributing to the success of numerous for-profit and non-profit businesses, with particularly impactful experience in intellectual property management, business transactions, strategic advisory/board director roles, and leadership/change management roles. Hilary A. Norton

Ms. Norton is Executive Director at Fixing Angelenos Stuck in Traffic (FAST). She has a 20-year career in public policy and advocacy, beginning with an internship in Mayor Tom Bradley’s office in 1991. She has worked for elected officials (now Supervisor) Mark Ridley-Thomas, Councilmember Richard Alarcon, Councilmember Richard Alatorre (where she was Chief of Staff), and State Senator Gil Cedillo. She then began her work in the private sector for the Central City Association, Fleishman-Hillard, and Executive Vice President at Palmer Investments. Ms. Norton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Wellesley College and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. Ms. Norton’s dedication to Orthopaedic Institute for Children (OIC) is to support OIC’s nationally recognized leadership in all orthopaedic fields, especially sports medicine and injury prevention.

Harold A. Davidson, DBA

Harold A. Davidson, DBA, is president of Harold Davidson & Associates, investment counselors, and is a registered investment advisor. He earned a bachelor’s degree in General Management, a master’s degree in Finance, and a doctoral degree in Finance and Urban Land Economics, all from the University of Southern California (USC). He is a former assistant professor of Finance and Urban Land Economics at USC. Dr. Davidson is a native of in Los Angeles. He and his wife, Nadine, currently reside in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles.

Dr. Davidson has served on the LuskinOIC Foundation Board of Trustees for over three decades as a member of the Investment Committee and currently serves as Chairman of the Nominating and Governance Committee.

He is a committed member of the Board of Trustees because he feels that the mission of LuskinOIC is a worthwhile cause that serves the community. LuskinOIC is special because the hospital does so much for children regardless of their families’ financial status.

Elisa Rodriguez

Rodriguez is a senior manager of financial planning and analysis for Orum, a technology company focused on creating a frictionless payment infrastructure. Prior to joining Orum, Rodriguez was a vice president at Goldman Sachs & Company, managing business strategies and operations in the area of personal wealth management. Her 15-year career also includes serving as a vice president of Wells Fargo & Company where she provided banking and financial services solutions to middle-market and mid-corporation businesses across Los Angeles County and was responsible for new business initiatives with a focus on health care financing. Rodriguez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Celene Chan Andrews

Celene, a cum laude graduate from UCLA in 2005 with degrees in Communications and Political Science, received her JD from UC Hastings in 2008. She is admitted to practice in California and Hawaii and oversees federal and state litigation in trial and appellate courts as a partner at LippSmith LLP. In 2014, the National Trial Lawyers honored her as a Top 40 Under 40 Attorney, and in 2015, she was named a Top 10 Under 40 attorney in California by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys. Celene values giving back to her community, leading various professional organizations and pro bono groups. An early UCLA Ehrlich Alumni Scholar, she has a life-long mentor in Craig Ehrlich. Celene finds joy in opportunities that merge working with people, food, and spreadsheets.

Brad Feld

One of Southern California’s most accomplished real estate professionals and currently President & CEO of SRA Advisors, Brad Feld brings almost four decades of diverse real estate experience in Commercial Office-Industrial-Retail Leasing & Sales, as well as Residential Real Estate Development and Residential Sales. During that time, Brad has represented many of the largest and most renowned landlords, tenants, investors, buyers and sellers on a local/national basis. He has a thorough knowledge of all aspects of Commercial lease and sale transactions including portfolio/lease analysis, submarket market/economic factors, contract review/negotiation, architectural/space planning, tenant improvement/construction processes, property management services, comparative economic lease analysis, and cash flow/investment analysis. Tenants that Brad has represented include Health Net, Viacom International, Comcast Entertainment Group, CBS/Paramount Studios, Warner Bros. Studios, Disney Studios, Dreamwork Studios, Ryan Seacrest Productions and the Shari Lansing Foundation.

He has also represented many owners with their real estate assets in key Southern California submarkets. With regard to residential real estate, Brad is a licensed CA Realtor and has negotiated numerous advantageous buy/sell transactions and has successfully developed and/or redeveloped high-end residential properties in the Beach Cities and Desert communities. He received his bachelor’ degree in Psychology, with a minor in Business Administration from UCLA. Brad is also passionate about helping children and is able to make an impact in his capacity as a Board Trustee and Gala Chair for The Luskin/UCLA Orthopaedic Institute for Children located in DTLA and Santa Monica, CA.

Richard E. Giss

Mr. Giss is a Retired Partner of Consumer Business at Deloitte & Touche LLP who focused on retail business and retail trends. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Accounting at the Southern Methodist University – Cox School of Business.

Miki Jordan

Miki Jordan is the chief executive officer of Wayfinder Family Services and a member of the organization’s board of directors. She is known for her visionary leadership, innovation and unwavering commitment to the most vulnerable children, adults and families. Under her leadership, Wayfinder has built upon its legacy of excellence by expanding the depth and reach of its programs and services, growing from a budget of $10.5 million to more than $48 million.

Prior to joining Wayfinder, Jordan was president and CEO of Para Los Niños for 14 years. She transformed the agency from a grassroots organization to one of Los Angeles’ most well respected social service organizations. She was chair of the board of directors of VisionServe Alliance from 2013 to 2016 and currently chairs its governance committee. She is on the board of directors of the California Alliance of Child and Family Services, and she is a member of the CEO council of the Alliance for Strong Human Service Agencies, a national organization dedicated to achieving a healthy society and strong communities for all children, adults and families. Previously, Jordan was on the board of directors of the Child Welfare League of America and the Association of Community Human Service Agencies.

Jordan holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Texas and a master’s in organizational development from Chapman University. Jordan completed a postgraduate program through the College of Executive Coaching and is a certified professional coach.

Mark Zytko

Mark Zytko co-founded Mesa West Capital in 2004 and is its co-Chief Executive Officer. Mesa West is an institutional investment management firm based in Los Angeles with offices in San Francisco, Chicago and New York. The firm specializes in commercial real estate credit investments and has provided over $25 billion of financing for commercial real estate projects nationwide since its inception. Mesa West raises the capital it invests by partnering with U.S. and international institutional investors including pension funds, endowments, insurance companies and sovereign wealth funds.

Mark is the co-Chair of Mesa West’s investment and valuation committees. At Mesa West, Mark established the Mesa West Foundation to support a wide variety of causes important to the company’s employees. He has also helped lead the firm’s other charitable activities including its targeted summer internship program which provides opportunity for underserved college students interested in business and finance. From inception in 2004 until 2018, Mesa West was a privately held company owned by its management team. Beginning in 2018, Mesa West joined Morgan Stanley to continue to grow its brand and business and became a wholly owned subsidiary of Morgan Stanley, Inc.

Prior to founding Mesa West, Mark spent five years with Credit Suisse First Boston as head of its West Coast commercial real estate finance office located in Los Angeles. Previous to Credit Suisse, Mark was a Vice President with GE Capital Real Estate. Previous to GE Capital, he was a Manager of mortgage lending with SunAmerica Investments in Los Angeles.

Mark was born and raised in Chicago. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University. He is a member of, and past Chairman of the Board of, the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council, the largest industry group focused on engagement, education and political support for the commercial real estate finance industry. He is also a member of the Stanford Real Estate Council, the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business Real Estate Advisory Board and the Urban Land Institute. Mark is a resident of Santa Monica, California where he lives with his wife, Nancy, and their twin boys who attend high school in Los Angeles. The Zytkos are active supporters of educational, children’s and animal causes including the Orthopedic Institute for Children at UCLA, Saint Matthew’s Church and School, Boy Scouts of America, Best Friends Animal Rescue and the Westside Food Bank of Los Angeles.
