President and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Anthony Scaduto is President and Chief Executive Officer at Luskin Orthopaedic Institute for Children (LuskinOIC) and the Chief of Pediatric Orthopaedics at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center and the Orthopaedic Hospital. He joined LuskinOIC in January 2009 as the Lowman Professor of Pediatric Orthopaedics, Medical Director, Fellowship Director, and Chief of Staff, and continues in those roles today. He provides specialized orthopaedic care for pediatric patients at the downtown Los Angeles campus, the Luskin Children’s Clinic in Santa Monica, and Border Clinic in Calexico, CA.

As a parent, your top priority is keeping your child safe and healthy. But when your child is sick or injured, it can be hard to know what level of care they need. Should you call your pediatrician, visit urgent care, or head straight to the emergency department?
For non-emergencies, your child’s pediatrician or a pediatric urgent care center is often the best place to start.
